It was close to the city centre bars and resturants it was also very close behind the main twin towered cathedrial in Zurich city.
The breakfast was very average and I wasnt a fan of the sharing bathroom.

Great location, heart of Zurich. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, and attractions. Clean room with everything needed. Friendly reception staff. Unbeatable price. Comfortable bed.
Not obvious to find.

Centrally located in heart of old town.
The hotel is extremely basic. White Walls, old budget furniture, old bathroom but quite clean. Reception is open at limited times. It's really just a hotel to sleep in at the end of the day.

Staff was nice. Breakfast was adequate.
Cramped entrance, cramped room, no fire escape that I could see. Some rooms looked onto a wall. Staff left the premises at midnight--I did not feel comfortable with that. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

It is also conveniently situated in the city center, just a few steps away from shops, restaurants, and the train station. The staff is attentive and the basic amenities provided are satisfactory. The rooms have nice beds and private bathrooms, allowing for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast is included in the value, making it a great deal.
Everything was satisfactory.

The room for 2 poeple was converted to 3 by adding a bed, leaving absolutely no space to walk or keep our luggage. We got up the next day and went out to buy a soap as the Hotel did not provide house keeping services. The reason they gave was "Sorry the staff did not show up".The windows could not be opened fully and we were baked with temp in the 30's. We asked for fan but were told the govt. does not allow fans. They ran out of bread in just 30 minutes from the time they opened for Breakfast. Why does Booked.net have such Hotels on their list. Is it because they pay a higher commission?

The location is fantastic, within walking distance of all major attractions. The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and a mini-bar. The hotel has a charming, private atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel for budget-conscious travelers.

I liked staff and location. Location is perfect. From train station only 5 min with walking. You can go everywhere from hotel. In the city center. Moreover you can go somewhere with train and bus. You can find bus and train every 5 min. An other important thing is Free Internet Access.. Free and Unlimited :))) Outside you should pay money for internet and so expensive.. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. You can check your mails with your laptop when you r in breakfast..

The hotel staff were very helpful.
The breakfast was dreadful-dry bread and jam. There was litle room to move in the room. There was no shampoo or shower gel.

The hotel is clean and has great facilities. The location is fantastic, right in the center of this city, close to everything with an amazing view of the lake. It's easy to reach shopping places and the old city. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful.
Nothing, all was good.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. Firstly, the value for money was excellent, especially considering its central location in the heart of the city. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Lastly, the room itself was comfortable and had all the basic amenities I needed, including a private bathroom. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the room, such as the windows that offered a lovely view of the quiet alley and ensured a good night's sleep.
All was well, no improvements necessary.

The location is excellent.
This isn't actually a hotel issue, but parking is an issue. If you park outside, you can only park for two hours, before coming back to pay two more hours. I ended up parking in an underground parking and pay 40 Euro from 6 PM to 9 AM. That plus the price of 150 Euros per night make actually the Marriott hotel quite cheap.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
